In this ad, not only will a person who buys this product be protecting themselves from unwanted elements found in unpurified water, but will also be protecting the planet since the bottle is made from plants. This advertisement is for the new Mercedes SLK, which is a luxury car company who makes both performance and luxury cars.  The ad is a picture of a man skydiving next to Mercedes newest performance car that has a parachute on it. The statement to the right says “As extreme as you.“ along with and explanation of the SLK’s features in a paragraph under the statement. This statement tries to relate the extreme nature of skydiving and this new car. It implies that if you buy this car you are an extreme person and like to take dangerous risks. This advertisement is another good example of a Sigmund Freud advertisement because it taps into your repressed desire to take risks and live a dangerous exiting life. The target audience of this advertisement would be any person who is wealthy and likes to live on the edge. This advertisement would likely be seen in a high-class magazine or in a Mercedes dealership.

This is an advertisement for Tropicana 100% Orange Juice, which is a healthy choice because it is “pure and natural squeezed from oranges.” This ad’s statement that its orange juice is pure and natural supports the idea that it is as natural as a mother’s love. The photograph along with its statement associates the idea that the orange juice is as good for a person as a mother’ love is for their children and appeals to something that all humans want: love. This advertisement is for Nike’s new golf club. The advertisement has a picture of the club in the center which your eye draws to first because of the bright red color and the way that the picture seems to glow. Also in the advertisement is a statement in bold white letters that says “REACH FARTHER” referring to golfing and how this particular club will allow you to hit the ball further, which also increasing the quality of your game. This advertisement shows the need to achieve. It shows how if you use this club you will be successful in hitting further and improving your overall golf game. To the right of the club is a faded picture of Tiger woods who is a famous golfer. His picture is used as a sort of testimonial that associates this club to the skill and achievement that Tiger has attained. Finally at the bottom of the ad is a paragraph, which explains how this club will improved your golf game, as well as Nike’s logo.
